How to join Shadows of the Ancestors
To join Shadows of the Ancestors, come to our Discord: the bot opens a private thread for you right away, where you introduce yourself and get guest access — no waiting on a reply. Then pick your game: World of Warcraft: Forever (Alliance, PvP, EU) or Mists of Pandaria Classic.

Join our Discord
Use the invite button above. Our bot greets you the moment you arrive and opens a private thread for you — that is where we get to know each other.
Introduce yourself in your thread
Press «Почати» (Start) and give your main’s nickname and the name we should call you. That same click accepts the guild rules and gets you guest access straight away.
What next: pick your game
Pick “WoW Forever”
For Forever the bot adds you to the list at once, no officer needed.
Link Battle.net on the portal
The bot gives you the portal link in your thread. Sign in with Discord and connect Battle.net — that finishes getting started. There is no game account or main character to pick: Blizzard shares no Forever character data yet.
Find us in game
In game press O to open the Who List and search for “Shadows of the Ancestors”. Message any guild member about joining: every member can invite you.
Pick “Mists of Pandaria Classic”
For Pandaria a second step asks «Так, уже в гільдії» (yes, already in the guild) or «Ні, хочу вступити» (no, I want to join), and an officer is notified.
Link your account on the portal
Discord carries a “Portal” button — the portal is the guild site. Sign in with Discord, connect Battle.net and pick your main character: it is where the roster, statics, raids and the event calendar live. If you are already in the guild in game, the portal sees it and opens up full access without an officer.
Pick the right game
In the Battle.net launcher open the version dropdown and choose Mists of Pandaria Classic. Classic Era, Burning Crusade Anniversary and modern World of Warcraft are different games — our realms and our guild do not exist there.
Find us in the Guild Finder
In game press J, open the Guild Finder tab, type “Shadows of the Ancestors” into the search box and press Search. Our guild card appears — press Request to Join.
Write your application
A short form opens. Write your first name in Ukrainian and leave the specs you play ticked, then press Apply. That name is what officers use to recognise you in game and in Discord.
Accept the invite
An officer reviews the application and sends an invite. Press Accept in the popup — and welcome to Shadows of the Ancestors.
Still can’t find us in the Guild Finder? Press «Ні, хочу вступити» (No, I want to join) in your Discord thread and an officer will send you an invite directly.
Pick «З іншої гільдії» (from another guild)
The bot asks for your guild’s name and adds it to your server nickname. You keep guest access, no officer needed.

Frequently asked questions
Where does Shadows of the Ancestors play?
In two versions of the game, on the European servers and as Alliance. The main one is World of Warcraft: Forever (PvP ruleset; no realms, you just pick the version in the launcher). Alongside it the guild plays Mists of Pandaria Classic on the Shek’zeer realm; EU realms share one space, so you can reach us from any of them.
Which version of World of Warcraft do you play?
World of Warcraft: Forever — that is where the guild is moving, and sign-up is open through Discord. In Mists of Pandaria Classic we play with our current roster, and you can still join. Classic Era, Burning Crusade Anniversary and modern WoW are separate games in the launcher; our guild is not there.
How do I join the guild?
Join our Discord and the bot creates a private thread for you. Press «Почати» (Start), introduce yourself and choose “WoW Forever”: the bot adds you to the Forever list right away, then link Battle.net on the portal, and in game open the Who List (the O key) and message any guild member about joining. Want to play with us in Pandaria right now? Choose “Mists of Pandaria Classic” and «Ні, хочу вступити» (No, I want to join): an officer is notified, and in game you find us through the Guild Finder.
Do I need to be in the guild in game to use the portal?
No. Static teams, events and the calendar are open to everyone without signing in. After introducing yourself in Discord you get guest access, and full access opens once you are in the guild in game and have linked Battle.net; the portal detects that on its own, no officer needed.
Can I sign up for the Forever guild already?
Yes. In your Discord thread choose “WoW Forever”, open the portal and link Battle.net. The bot adds you to the Forever list right away, and we will call you into the right channels as soon as the servers open: Alliance, PvP, EU.
Is there room for newcomers and people who play rarely?
Yes. In Forever the roster is built from scratch, so there is room for everyone, from newcomers to raid leaders; there will be training raids and static teams for every pace. In Pandaria, open positions are listed on the teams page and one-off replacements under events.
When are the raids?
Mostly in the evenings, on most days of the week: each static team has its own weekly schedule, shown on its page. The full raid plan is in the calendar, with times shown in your own time zone.
Which language does the guild speak?
Ukrainian. It is a Ukrainian-speaking community; the portal is available in Ukrainian and English.
